San Antonio Doberman Advocacy and Rescue (SA/DAR) is a non-profit group dedicated to the rescue of abused, abandoned and unwanted Doberman Pinschers and to locating responsible and loving homes for the Dobermans.
- SADAR is currently accepting dogs. Please contact mjmmarsh@msn.com for information.
- Available dogs are kept in foster homes.
- Required reading for new adopters is the "Owners Manual" produced by Doberman Rescue of North Texas. Lots of good information on integrating a new dog into your home.
- Additional information about these dogs and about doberman rescue is contained in our FAQ and in Frank Grover's Dobermans are Different.
- Dobermans do need obedience training to fit comfortably into our homes and family.
- San Antonio Doberman Rescue and Advocacy is a non-profit corporation. It is recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as a 501(c)(3) charity. This means that donations made to San Antonio Doberman Rescue and Advocacy are tax deductible. Your support would be greatly appreciated, especially for medical care.
